Manual backups are free and will always be free. Messages are saved as standard EML files in Maildir-style folders. Open them in other apps that support EML, or use compatible Maildir tools. Import steps and folder support vary by app.

Download and open MailVault, then go to Settings → Billing and choose Yearly. Complete checkout to start your 14-day trial. The trial is available for your first yearly subscription; returning subscribers should check their eligibility in the app.
The yearly subscription starts charging after the trial unless you cancel first. Monthly subscriptions are charged when you subscribe and do not include the yearly trial. Review the amount, payment details, and renewal date in checkout before confirming.
You keep access to your saved mail and Free features. Premium remains active until the end of your trial or paid period, then the app returns to Free. Cancel during the yearly trial to avoid the subscription charge.
Premium adds scheduled backups, snapshots, migration, cleanup, export, and tracker blocking. Your subscription also supports ongoing development and maintenance by our small team. The full mail client and manual archiving remain free.
