MailVault keeps a copy of your mail in a vault on your computer. Read and search it offline, keep it on an external drive or NAS, and open the files in other mail apps.
How it works
- Standard filesEvery message is a plain .eml file in Maildir-style folders, readable by other mail tools.
- Any folder, any driveMove the vault to an external drive, a NAS mount or another folder. MailVault copies everything, checks every file arrived, then removes the originals. Not available in the Mac App Store edition.
- Works offlineSaved mail opens and searches with no connection and no server.
